Pastor David and Yulonda Rhodes
Meet Our Pastor and Wife
David McKinley Rhodes was born in Memphis TN to J.C
and Cenora Rhodes on November 16, 1959. David, the youngest of six children began his walk with Christ at a very early age. As a member of True Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Angus
Brunson, he was an active member of the youth department and the choir.
He attended C.H. Mason Bible College. He also studied under the teaching of the late Tom Murray, at Truth Seekers Fellowship. Pastor Rhodes is a certified instructor in Evangelical Training.
David was employed with Federal Express Corporation for 15 years when he accepted his call to ministry. He accepted an early retirement and became Co-owner of the family owned and operated, Arrow Cab Company.
Yulonda Evette Rhodes was born in Memphis, TN on March
13, 1967 to Mrs. Ella M. Bankston. Yulonda, the second of three children, confessed hope in Christ at an early age and joined Lamar Terrace Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Pastor Ben Young. She was active in the youth department, Sunday school and the choir. Yulonda joined Cummings Street M.B. Church in 1987, under the leadership of the late Pastor Eugene Waller. At Cummings Street, Yulonda was an active member of the Praise Team, Mass Choir, Marriage Ministry, and the New Members Ministry.
Yulonda has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Memphis, and she is currently a Case Manager for The Shelby County Community Services Agency.
David and Yulonda became one on March 13, 1992, and they are the proud parents of two daughters; Danielle and Mikynlee.
